Biography
Sheryl Trent is a Certified Master Facilitator™, Certified Virtual Facilitator™ and is certified by Cornell University in Diversity and Inclusion. With over 28 years in city and county management positions, she founded SBrand Solutions in 2011 to focus on “filling in the blanks”. Using facilitation as the foundation she has clients across the United States in the areas of strategic planning, organizational assessments, community engagement and team development. With a focus on results that are actionable, adaptable, and customized, her work has been used in national magazines and won awards.

She is a regular speaker nationally on issues related to strategic planning, facilitation and inclusive community engagement and teaches online and in person courses on facilitation skills. Clients have included federal and state agencies, cities, counties, special districts, community foundations, departments and divisions of government, and nonprofits. Sheryl is also recognized for her work in team development and training.

She serves as the past Chair of the International Institute for Facilitation, the world’s leading institution for facilitation certification, research and innovative learning. She is a member of the Association for Strategic Planning, the International Association of Facilitators, the National Center for Deliberative Debate, and many city management organizations.
