DC Facilitators Workshops

MAFN’s signature DC Facilitators Workshop Series consists of 10 interactive three-hour sessions on various topics related to the practice and business of facilitation. Offering an excellent opportunity for continued education and skills development, the series encompasses a wide variety of topics, and supports the profession’s core competencies as outlined by the International Association of Facilitators.

Participants in the workshops range from novices to the most experienced practitioners, and includes small business owners, corporate facilitators, government employees, and management consultants who use facilitation in their jobs.

Map & Directions to the DC Workshops at GAO

Because these workshops are held in a government facility, advanced registration and a valid government-issued photo identification (e.g., drivers license or passport) are required for entry.

IMPORTANT: The deadline for registration is Midnight EST on the Tuesday before each workshop.

As this is a Federal facility, you MUST be on the access list to get in the door.  Walk-in registration is not allowed and we do not have authority to make exceptions. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Non-US Citizen Registration

Federal security rules require non-US citizens to complete GAO access requirements for review at least two weeks prior to the workshop. Please email the MAFN Director for Professional Development, Patrick Tallarico to notify MAFN and the GAO of your Foreign National status. Note: Please place in the subject line of your e-mail: "Non-US Citizen Registration for MAFN Workshop.”

Cancellation Policy

If you pay for an individual MAFN workshop session and cancel before the registration deadline, MAFN will either credit your full registration fee towards a future workshop or process a refund, less a processing fee.

There will be no refunds or credits for cancellations received after the registration deadline.

Refunds, less a processing fee, are only available for workshop series subscribers until the September workshop of each year.
