DC Facilitators Workshops

MAFN’s signature DC Facilitators Workshop Series consists of 10 interactive three-hour sessions on various topics related to the practice and business of facilitation. Offering an excellent opportunity for continued education and skills development, the series encompasses a wide variety of topics, and supports the profession’s core competencies as outlined by the International Association of Facilitators.

 

Participants in the workshops range from novices to the most experienced practitioners, and includes small business owners, corporate facilitators, government employees, and management consultants who use facilitation in their jobs.

 

Registration is OPEN for the 2017-18 DC Workshop Series! 

We are delighted to offer our Members and friends a full series of 10 workshops, each running for 3 hours.  REGISTER FOR THE ENTIRE SERIES at a significant savings for MAFN members!

 

The DC Workshop Series runs from September 2017 to June 2018.  The DC Workshops typically occur on the fourth Friday morning of each month (with exceptions for holidays) in our downtown Washington DC location, from 8:15 am to noon.  Join us from 8:30 - to 9:00 AM for breakfast and networking.  The program will begin at promptly at 9:00 AM.

Schedule

Doors open at 8:15 am for check-in, breakfast, catching up with friends, and networking. 

Workshops start at 9:00 am and end at 12:00 noon.

Location and Security Requirements

All MAFN workshops take place at the Government Accountability Office (GAO), 441 G St, NW, Washington, DC, in room 2N30.

Because these workshops are held in a government facility, advanced registration and a valid government-issued photo identification (e.g., drivers license or passport) are required for entry.

 

IMPORTANT: The deadline for registration is Midnight EST on the Tuesday before each workshop.

 

As this is a Federal facility, you MUST be on the access list to get in the door.  Walk-in registration is not allowed and we do not have authority to make exceptions. We apologize for any inconvenience.

 

Cancellation Policy

If you pay for an individual MAFN workshop session and contact info@mafn.org to cancel before the registration deadline, MAFN will either credit the full registration fee towards a future workshop or process a refund, less a processing fee of $10. No refunds after registration deadline has passed.

 

If you pay for a MAFN workshop series and contact info@mafn.org to cancel before the date of the September workshop, MAFN will process a refund, less a processing fee of $10. No refunds on or after the date of the September workshop.
