2043 is Coming! A MAFN Racial Justice Community of Practice Event (Members Only)

Description:According to the U.S. Census Bureau, by the year 2043, no racial group will represent a majority in the U.S. population.  This historic milestone is just 20 years away, yet what does it mean for our nation that has long had “majority” and “minority” populations?  Join us on January 10^th to kick off the New Year, discuss the implications of this shift, what it means for companies and organizations, and what we can do as a Racial Justice Community of Practice. We’ll hear from Julye M. Williams, the founder of The Project 2043 Institute, a strategic consulting and training firm that helps organizations act on their goals for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.

Our guiding principles are:

• If you register and cannot attend, please cancel to allow someone else to come. 

• Registration closes at midnight the day before the discussion group.

• Registered participants will receive instructions for joining the live session and any additional details 1 day in advance and the morning of the event. Please be sure to look for the link in your email.

• MAFN CoP discussions will not be recorded in order to support space for learning.
