About the workshop

Who doesn’t dread those workshop and presentation mistakes? How do we overcome our fear of them? You may have heard that “Perfection is the enemy of success,” and similar sayings, but how do you get over perfectionism?

If you’ve ever felt paralyzed by perfectionism, or fear of making mistakes when presenting, come to this workshop with Melissa Dinwiddie! You’ll get to try out some tools that might just help you loosen up, AND you’ll learn some activities you can use in your own sessions, to help participants:

  • Deal with change
  • Deal with confusion
  • Not worry so much about mistakes
  • Work better as a team
  • Become aware of improvement
  • Practice self-compassion

Learning Objectives

In this session, participants will:

  • ·        To distinguish between feelings of confusion/overwhelm and actual problems
  • ·        To think quickly and justify on the spot
  • ·       To appreciate that they will survive even if they make a mistake!

NOTE: This workshop will be recorded for distribution to all who register (breakout rooms will not be recorded).

This is a 90-minute online workshop. It will take place from 12:00pm to 1:30pm Eastern Time.
