Racial Justice CoP: Body-Based Practices: Responding to Racialized Encounters in our Work

Racism and racialized encounters don't just impact what we think - they impact our bodies as well. Recognizing how those impacts feel can help prepare us to show up the way we WANT to show up, when something happens while we're facilitating. This workshop will focus on scenarios around racism, but is also applicable to other acts of exclusion (sexism, homophobia, ageism, etc.).

PLEASE NOTE: MAFN Communities of Practice are only open to MAFN members. 

• If you register and cannot attend, please cancel to allow someone else to come. 

• Registration closes at midnight the day before the discussion group.

• Registered participants will receive instructions for joining the live session and any additional details 1 day in advance and the morning of the event. Please be sure to look for the link in your email.

• MAFN CoP discussions will not be recorded in order to support a safe space for learning.
