MAFN's May 6th Online Workshop: Mural for Mere Mortals: It's Easier Than You Think

About the workshop: 

Your peers shall demystify Mural, the online whiteboard tool for virtual meetings, so you can feel more comfortable creating a Mural for yourself or for teams and clients you serve. You will learn how to get started using Mural and will have various opportunities to see how a group of relative newbies to Mural have used the tool to support their own facilitation work. 

This session will show you practical ways to get started in Mural and will offer various breakout sessions from which you can choose ways to use the tool that support the online facilitations you already do. 

You may not find stunning artistic visuals here - just simple, straightforward ways we can repurpose an empty whiteboard to fit the needs of the groups we serve.

• Explore how you might learn to use Mural in your own work

NOTE: This workshop will be recorded for distribution to all who register (breakout rooms will not be recorded).

This is a 90-minute online workshop. It will take place from 12:00pm to 1:30pm EST.

Speakers: 

In 2020, several colleagues who wanted to learn to use Mural came together and a “Mural Playtime” group was formed. Most of us had not used Mural or any collaborative whiteboard tool, but when it was clear that the pandemic was going to require virtual work whether we liked it or not, several of us joined together to try out Mural and learn new ways of working with our clients. 

We learned Mural over the last 18+ months - because we JUMPED IN, put our hands on our keyboards and figured it out - with the support of each other in a safe learning space.
