So what is improvisation? Well it’s a form of live theatre in which the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up in the moment. Often improvisers will take a suggestion from the audience, or draw on some other source of inspiration to get started.

In this workshop you’ll learn a wide variety of improvisational techniques designed to help you punch up your presentations, accelerate learning, deepen retention, and engage your audience both more effectively and more confidently. By learning some of the basics (and intermediates) of improv, you’ll be more comfortable creating on the fly, responding to unplanned topics or hiccups, and able to turn your presentations into dynamic and captivating performances.

Workshop participants will engage in role-play trying out a range of improv games and scenarios. Participants will receive a list of improv games with instructions and resources for future training.
