Committed to maximizing results and growing initiatives, Mariama has been an educator, leader, facilitator, trainer, author, and consultant; serving in associations, higher education and non-profits for 20 years. She is focused on applying strategic management and leadership to create and produce quality programs and services while developing caring and competent professionals. She has experience working with thousands of academic faculty, administrative staff, students, association boards, community councils, teams, volunteers and members in medium to large universities, non-profit organizations and associations. Previous roles have included directing student support, multicultural, and diversity services; university and public relations; membership and component relations; plus national awards, accessibility, diversity and inclusion, governance, and volunteer leadership development.

As a facilitator of organizational transitions, Mariama empowers individuals to move through discomfort so they can find shared purpose and create frameworks for constructive dialogue and action planning.
