As facilitators, we actively use our judgment to identify when and how to intervene in a group. Our interventions in a group's task, processes and interpersonal dynamics are often instrumental in enabling a group to achieve its goals.
But what do we do in the moment of intervening? Join this practical workshop to practice the Art of Intervening, and sharpen your skills in observation, assessment and intervention.
The workshop builds on ideas introduced during MAFN's October workshop, though participation in October is not required for participation in this workshop. We will review key themes and dive into practice together.
Michael Randel, CPF, is a facilitator with more than 20 years experience working with groups in a wide variety of settings. His approach to group interventions is informed by practical experience and real-life lessons, and a firm conviction that each group has the potential to achieve its purpose.
