Recent findings and advances in understanding the brain are helping “transform how people think, develop and perform” through the field of Neuroleadership.  Knowing basic brain principles helps facilitators understand  their own behavior, as well as the patterns and motivations of the teams and associates they work with in organizations.  This presentation discusses the most critical aspects of the brain that successful facilitators utilize to help achieve successful facilitated meeting results, create better understanding of dynamics within the room and ensure better group process.

In this interactive and engaging presentation, participants will: 1) Learn about the  growing  importance of the field of brain science and Neuroleadership ; 2) Provide basic overview of key aspects of brain science; 3)  Understand how the brain’s ability to reorganize and create new neuronal  pathways help shape new behavior  (Neuroplasticity) and its implications for facilitators;  4) Work with a brain-based tool to explore optimal state decision-making and enhanced effectiveness (Neuronal Biases); 5) Practice basic brain-based techniques in interactive learning exercises to immediately apply neuroleadership to facilitation practice.
