“Becoming A “DiSC Savvy” Facilitator”

As facilitators we all look for tools and techniques to enhance our art and practice of facilitation.  We know that one key to successful facilitation is getting to know our clients; but we also are aware that many times we do not have the opportunity to meet with them prior to an event.

DiSC is a tool that can be used (1) to get a “quick read on behavior” and (2) to jump-start your sessions.  DiSC® will give you that “quick read on” behavior and behavioral drivers. You will become “DiSC Savvy” and quoting of our latest clients: “When we employ the DiSC® assessments, it is like we are applying ‘magic’”.  You will find that DiSC® is a tool you won’t be able live without, and it will become an invaluable tool in your facilitation practice!

Participants will:
  • Understand their primary facilitative (DiSC) style;
  • Understand the behavior of clients and fellow participants;
  • Develop a practice that enhances the facilitated design process by understanding the participants and clients behaviors;
  • Understand how behaviors impact trust and trustworthiness in the workplace;
  • Understand how to use behavioral tools and techniques in building a facilitation practice
