As the demographic population of the United States is changing, Glimpse into Cultural Competence through Diversity & Inclusion will provide participants with an opportunity to explore the importance of understanding the cultural nuances of those we engage with both personally and professionally.

The session will focus on examining cultural competency abilities and skills through a discussion on diversity and inclusion, critical thinking, reflection of our perceptions, and best practices for consideration when working in organizations. With the participant group as the system for learning, small group & whole group dialogue, along with individual reflection, will provide the impetus for increased knowledge on the subject of Cultural Competence.
