Do you struggle to explain what you do as a facilitator and why it matters?  Do you wish that the right people know who you are and value what you do? Whether you are working inside an organization or are a consultant, being able to clearly articulate the value and importance of what you do is critical to your success and that of the organizations we work with.

In this lively, interactive workshop, you will learn how to hone in on what makes you unique, how to make your “value proposition” compelling and how to create messages that resonate with your bosses, clients and partners.   You will leave with more than an "elevator pitch"; you will have a new understanding of how to market and promote yourself and your work as a facilitator and you will also see some facilitation techniques that you can add to your toolkit.

This workshop will help participants gain a new understanding of how to talk about what they do and create messages that resonate.

It will also give help people understand marketing and communications tools that they can use to effective  promote and engage their target audiences and stakeholders.

Liz Wainger is founder of Wainger Group, L.L.C., an independent, strategic communications consulting firm that helps associations, government agencies, companies and nonprofits who are struggling to make their value, purpose and mission compelling.  Through her consulting in the areas of messaging, communications planning, and organizational alignment around messaging, Wainger has enabled her clients to harness the power of communications to win customers, change minds, forge new partnerships and strengthen organizational culture.  Clients have included The Wolf Trap Foundation, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, global real estate services firm CBRE, Capitol Riverfront Business Improvement District and James Davis Construction Corporation.
