  • 02/11/2022
  • 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
  • Online using Zoom

Registration

Duration: 90-minute workshop

About the workshop

What does it take to be an impactful facilitator? How do you know if your facilitation has made an impact? What does impact mean? for whom?

In this session you will hear from three experienced MAFN members, with different backgrounds, whose client's facilitation work has been nominated and given an IAF Facilitation Impact Award. These panelists reported significant learnings from the submission and evaluation process which helped them become more aware of all the elements and different criteria that exist for  the results of their interventions to be considered impactful.

This session will give participants an opportunity to hear from our guest speakers and among each other what their experiences have been in connection to making an impact in the work they do, whether big or small.

Learning Objectives

In this session, participants will:
    - Become aware of how different stakeholders might measure impact differently
    - Discuss what “impact” means to you, and how your peers’ perceptions of impact might differ
    - Reflect on ways we might continue to create the proper conditions for impact to happen

NOTE
: This workshop will be recorded for distribution to all who register (breakout rooms will not be recorded).

This is a 90-minute online workshop. It will take place from 12:00pm to 1:30pm EST.
