About the session...

Handling your own sales and marketing can be daunting, whether you are an independent consultant, a freelancer or small firm.
In this 90-minute webinar, strategic planning and fundraising specialist, Derry Deringer, and sales for non-salespeople specialist, Kim Fredrich, will give you the tools you need to grow revenue without feeling slimy or sleazy.

Derry will first take you through the ‘science’ of selling: demonstrating a proven funnel process to prioritize, and track, your sales and marketing activities so you can focus on the things that matter the most.

Kim will follow with the ‘art’ of selling: how to have conversations that move you and your potential client closer to the outcomes you’re both seeking. One or two lucky participants will have the opportunity to have a practice sales conversation with Kim, live on the webinar!

Objectives
Participants will:

  • Learn a process for prioritizing and tracking your own sales and marketing funnel
  • Learn how to have real conversations that don’t feel slimy or sleazy
  • Have an opportunity to practice your sales conversation

Kim Fredrich helps businesses increase profit and individuals find their sales confidence by helping ‘non-sales’ staff get comfortable with sales and selling. Her one-on-one sales training is focused on building relationships and having conversations with purpose. She has conducted workshops for Howard University’s In3 Incubator, Hera Hub and the Maryland Women’s Business Center in addition to her private clients. Kim has also presented at The Power Conference, NAWBO, the Freelance Union and the Women in Business Leadership Council. Her enthusiasm about sales has proven to be infectious! Her own sales training began nearly 20 years ago with a Huthwaite consultant in the UK, was polished off by Xerox in the US, and has been honed working with select clients in B2B, B2C and non-profit arenas in three different countries.
