Dr. David Hardy, expert in Functional Neurology, and Nancy Walters, process consultant and meeting facilitator, team up to make the connection between brain function and group performance in meetings.  In this webinar, Dr. Hardy will present insights into what contributes to peak brain performance in individuals. Nancy will suggest implications for meeting design and facilitation and invite meeting participants to offer their own experiences related to this understanding of brain function.

In this session we'll explore how facilitators can help:

  • Reduce anxiety levels of meeting participants
  • Accommodate individual peak performance cycles
  • Build movement into meeting designs
  • Minimize break food-related “spikes and dips”

Plus, we’ll also discuss how facilitators can ensure their own brain performance is at its peak!

Dr. David Hardy is a recent graduate from Life University, where he has been on the forefront of learning the most recent applications in Functional Neurology.  In addition to earning his Doctorate in Chiropractic, Dr. Hardy has accumulated hundreds of post doctorate credit hours leading to Board Certification and volunteered hundreds more hours working with patients in the cutting-edge Functional Neurology clinic of Dr. Ted Carrick.  Dr. Hardy has blended this experience with an extensive background in education, coaching and athletics.  He has worked in Australia, Japan and Canada, teaching all age groups from preschool to senior citizens. Dr. Hardy has also witnessed firsthand, and been a part of remarkable improvements in, athletic peak performance and recoveries made by athletes with concussion and mild TBI; both of which are subjects that are close to him since he has played at high competitive levels in rugby and completed Ironman competitions.
