In his book, Reinventing Organizations, Frederic Laloux discusses the breakthrough shifts in organizational paradigms that have occurred whenever there has been a major shift in human consciousness. He ponders the question of what the next organizational paradigm shift will be, and presents the results of his research looking at a number of organizations that have apparently already made the shift. His findings are astounding; and this seminal work has been described as an essential handbook for founders of organizations, leaders, coaches, advisors, and facilitators who sense that something is broken in the way we run our organizations today, and who feel deeply that more must be possible.

In this session, you will gain an understanding of:

  • the small number of major shifts in human consciousness that have occurred over the last 100,000 years.
  • the breakthrough shifts in organizational paradigms that correspond to each shift in human consciousness
  • Laloux's research and findings about the newest organizational paradigm.

In addition, you will engage in a discussion of what the implications of the new organizational paradigm might be for facilitators in the future.
