Becky Roberts is a Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF), a Project Management Professional (PMP), and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC). Becky uses facilitated group processes to help government and nonprofits define business objectives, measure performance against objectives, and implement the change necessary to reach goals. She has over 25 years of experience in facilitation, organizational development, strategic planning, performance management, process improvement and reengineering, team building, leadership development, and systems engineering. Prior to founding Catoctin Consulting, Becky held management positions with DynCorp, Oracle and PRC. She is a founding board member of the Mid Atlantic Facilitators Network (MAFN).
Project Descriptions
Typical projects that Becky has successfully led and supported include facilitating leadership summits, expert panels and focus groups with CEOs and senior managers from government and a wide range of nonprofits; developing a strategic plan and enterprise architecture for a federal government agency; reengineering a major government program; helping a county government implement the balanced scorecard; identifying requirements for major automation initiatives; and facilitating development of national policy proposals for a panel of Presidential and Congressional appointees. She designed and helped standup two new nonprofit organizations: a national charitable foundation for a trade association and a national research and development institute focused on improving employment outcomes for people with disabilities. She has facilitated many cross-organizational meetings, stakeholder input sessions, and expert panels with representatives from industry, government, and academia.
