Computer:
Internet Access: To participate in the MAFN Online Member Lunchtime Workshops you need access to an internet enabled computer with a minimum access using a 56K modem, although broadband access is the best.
Disable Pop-Up Blocking Feature: You must be able to "disable" the Pop-Up Blocking feature on your computer. This may be found on your browser (Internet Explorer (under "Tools"), Mozilla Firefox (Under "Tools" then select "Content"). You may also need to temporarily disable this function in your Virus Protection system (Norton, McAffe)
AOL Users: If you use AOL it is best to log in to AOL, minimize your AOL browser, then open your Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox Browser.
Telephone:
Most events with more than 3 participants will use a teleconferencing capabilitiy. MAFN uses http://www.freeconference.com/ for the majority of our Online Member Events.
During these workshops it is recognized that participants will likely have to deal with something locally while they listen (those multi-taskers). So it is important that you observe a few basic Do's and Don'ts for these evernts:

| Do use a Land Line Phone for the teleconference. |
Don't use a cell phone unless you are in an area with excellent signal strength. |
| Do use the "MUTE" capability on your phone, or use the Teleconferencing system mute, while you are listening. |
Don't use a speaker phone. Background noise can be very disruptive to the group. |
| Remember to "Un-Mute" your phone when you have a question or comment. |

Practice with WebIQ
After you became a member of MAFN, a WebIQ account was created for you, and your userid and password were emailed to you by Ray Bejarano.
Instructions: Preferably from your Internet Explorer browser, click on the link below: http://www.webiq.net/webiq. Ensure that you have disabled all pop-up suppression software that you have installed on your browser. If you need assistance, please go to http://www.webiq.net/support/nonopopup.html
If you do not remember your WebIQ userid and password, click on "(forgot your password?)" and follow the on-screen instructions. After you log in, Click on "Join a Session" Click on "MAFN Online Workshop Test Agenda" Follow the instructions at the top of the screen.
