How to Participate in the
FBoK Research Project

Thanks for your interest in this research project. This project is wholely sponsored and supported by the members of MAFN. Since 2001 we have accumulated a significant list of papers.

Before you get started, please review several of the types of papers in our archive similar to what you want to write. When you are ready contact the project director to register your topic. If you have any questions feel free to contact the project director.

The intent of these papers are to cover many topics with information that will inform and direct the facilitator where to go to find additional information, not to try to make an expert of them on the topic. They are a quick read, yet for their focus and size, do a good job of providing a fairly comprehensive overview.

Here is the process:

We believe your interests should guide you in selecting a topic. However, if you don't know where to start, we have collected a significant listing of potential topics. Take a look at the FBoK Topic List of over 206 available topics. Please call (703) 913-6513 or send an email to the Research Project Director to propose your topic. This will ensure noone else is doing a paper on the same topic. Download the Format Instructions. Start with a Google Search then edit, write, and rewrite as needed to create your topic within the scope of our structure. Email you paper to the Research Project Director. Be prepared for feedback and questions. Once accepted it will be scheduled inclusion in the online FBoK Archives and the MAFN Newsletters.
