Andrea Chiou is an agile coach and facilitator who uses a variety of agile processes, tools, and techniques to foster improvement in IT organizations.  She has worked as a manager, analyst and programmer on IT projects in the Federal space, and her current mission is help foster more learning, joy and improvement ideas to knowledge workers of every stripe. Much of this new work focus is related to improving human communication skills.

The Clean Language question technique was introduced to her through a back-of-the-napkin type of after-dinner talk at the 'Amplify Your Effectiveness' conference she attended in 2010. These few minutes changed the way she thought about when she learns at her best, which in turn has radically changed what she is now focused on. A five-minute clean session spontaneously helped her figure out what was really important to her.  So she gave up PM work in favor of coaching and facilitation.
