We all know that groups develop through stages. But what can we, as facilitators, do to help a group mature from forming to high performing? The presenters have found that if you attend carefully to design, group dynamics largely take care of themselves. This workshop introduces eight core principles that allow you to be exquisitely intentional about designing meetings that help groups mature and operate collaboratively, without dependence on the facilitator. You will experience specific activities for the beginning, middle and culmination of meetings. Together we will explore the nuances of the role of facilitator as designer.
