Facilitators are often used to help agencies, organizations and/or businesses resolve problems. Some of these problems can be internal within a particular entity or between different organizations, and the disputes can vary, ranging from workplace disputes to customer disputes or commercial disputes. This interactive workshop will focus on key elements/strategies facilitators can use when resolving group/multi-party issue. Participants will learn the key stages of these types of problems, including the importance of pre-meeting, how the keep the group focused on its task, developing strategies to help groups reach consensus on diverse issues and interests, and helping groups overcome barriers to resolving problems.
